Doctor's Visit

I wish I had something exciting to report, but no change since last week. Baby and I are doing well. The baby's heart beat continues in the 140s. Somehow I am still gaining weight, which I didn't think was possible. :( I am really starting to get anxious to meet our little sweet pea. I just want to know that the baby is healthy and the gender. Hopefully next week will bring different news. Only 2 weeks left!!!

Baby Shower

My Nannaine threw a wonderful baby shower at her house. The food was fantastic and the cake was even better. Thank you to all the friends and family, who attended. It was really great to see and catch up with everyone. I am amazed by everyone's generosity. I told Jude we need a bigger house to fit all of the baby gear. I definitely feel more prepared and ready for Baby Voltz.

Holy Cow!!! I didn't realize how large I had gotten until viewing these pictures. The belly just can't get any bigger!!!

Work Baby Shower

The girls at work through a wonderful shower for Baby Voltz. Everyone was so generous and thoughtful. Baby Voltz definitely has everything a baby could need or want. My mom and Emma came to join in the fun. Of course, everyone thought Emma was adorable.

Doctor Visit

I went to the doctor today. The baby's heartbeat is still in the 140s and the baby positioned head down. She estimates the baby's weight to be about 7.5lbs-8lbs, which I was happy and relieved to hear. I was so nervous the baby was going to be huge, because of Jude's size. She also said there is a possibility I may have the baby early. I am starting to get anxious to meet the baby and find out the gender. Only 5 weeks left!!!

Emma Update

I could not pass up the opportunity to show off my beautiful niece. Here are some recent pictures of Emma. As you can see she is very shy around cameras. NOT!!! I can't believe she will already be three years old in a couple of weeks. How time flys!!!

Practicing for when Baby Voltz arrives. Emma is convinced that Baby Voltz will be a girl and has chosen the name Carolyn for the baby.

33 Week Progression

Sorry about the lull in posts. It has been a very busy couple of weeks. As you can see the stomach managed to get even bigger. I went to the doctor this past Monday. The baby's heart beat is still in the 140s. My stomach is measuring average, so I can't blame the baby for all the weight gain. ;( Still feeling good, but easily fatigued. Only 7 more weeks until baby!!!!

Couple's Shower

Corey, Jude's sister, threw us a couple's shower for the baby at her house in Mandeville. We had a really great time. Thanks to all of Jude's friends who attended. I know Jude enjoyed seeing you and catching up. I feel a little more prepared for baby with all the wonderful gifts we recieved. Thanks again for a wonderful party!
